She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Ponder and Velt Ponder. She is survived by: her husband Robert Sharpe (Bob); her brother Gordon Ponder (Dora); her daughter Jennifer Townley (Rob); her grandchildren, Davis and Madeline Townley; her family, Mike Sharpe, Lynn Sharpe, Kathy Johnson and Barry Sharpe (Leslie); and her grandchildren, Curtis Sharpe, Ashlyn Sharpe, Brooke Sharpe, Coleman Johnson, Clay Johnson and Nella Sharpe.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sanctuary Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
