She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Poor and Margaret Smathers Poor; her husband Hardie William Ammons, Jr.; and her sister Dottie Clark. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Ammons (Kimberly) of Arden and Steve Ammons of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, Peggy Compton, Linda Tipton (Bobby), Beverly Lee, Robert Poor (Vickie), Don Poor (Kristy), Barbara Sikes, Ken Poor (Ivette) and Brenda Trantham (Donnie); her grandchildren, Stephanie Heller (Russell), Autumn Mckinney, Zachary Ammons (Brittany) and Isaac Ammons (Ashlyn); her great grandchildren, Haylee, Carter, Sadie, Everly and Blakely Grace; and her aunt Teenie Smathers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
