He was predeceased by: his father Daniel C. McConnellogue; and his brother Eric McConnellogue. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Pfeiffer McConnellogue; his daughter Kristina McConnellogue; his stepsons, George D. Melton Jr. (Jennifer) and Travis J. Melton (Angela); and his sisters, Janet McConnellogue (Jim Clontz) and Sharon Randall (Rick). He is also survived by two nephews, two nieces; four great nephews and one great niece.
A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
