He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Smith (J. T.) and Sophia Sue Price Smith. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shelton Smith; his children, Debi, Eddie (Mary) and Donna; and his grandchildren, Jacob (Allison), Katie, Nicholas (Danielle), Nikki (Trey) and Benjamin. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
