He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Lee and Noretta Higgins Melton. He is survived by : his daughter Cindy Ann Scheidt Melton; his grandson Jamie Mayk Weidner; his siblings, Patricia Melton Ward, Judy Howard, Jerry Melton and Tonja Tollison; and his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Ward, Dawn Shelton, Angie Howard, Johnny Howard, Jeremy Melton, Kristen Melton, Logan Bolick and Jordan Tollison.
