He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Vanderbeek and Genevieve Vanderbeek (TerHaar). He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Patti); his sister Nancy of Athens Ga; his nieces, Lynne Mayer (Brian), Kristen O'Buckley (Mike) of Asheville and Elizabeth Graham (Doug) of Knoxville; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Michael, Gabrielle, Parker, David, Adam and Anna.
