With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodore Virgil Faber (Arden, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Faber and Anne Faber; and his brother John Faber. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Theodore Faber Jr. (Brenda Podemski), Jack Faber (Kimberly Raub) and Bethany Emory (Scott Emory); his grandsons, Tyler Emory (Samara Winters) and Cody Emory (Dayanne Emory); his great grandchildren, Jehovanni Reynoso and Leonardo Emory; his brother Anthony Faber (Margaret Faber); and his sibling's children, Sharon Lee Faber and Mark Faber.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity (https://wl.donorperfect.net) in his honor. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Theodore Virgil Faber 's name.

“I met Ted in September, 1962. We both lived in the freshman dorm and worked together in the cafeteria. We became friends and a few months later, became fraternity brothers. That relationship has stayed with us ever since. For many years we, and a few others, would meet for our own mini-reunion. We've missed him the last few years due to health problems. We missed him then, but we'll miss him even more now. Hopefully, we'll have another reunion if we make it where Ted is now. He is a great guy.”
