He is survived by: his wife Crystal Barefoot Moore; his children, Ashton Moore of Raleigh, John Ameri (Addy) of Leland, Anthony Ameri of Bolton and DeAnn Ameri of Leland; his stepdaughters, Cigi Ballard (Alec) of Ash and Kelly Ballard (Allen) of Shell Point; his grandson Devlyn Bennett; his brother Willie Calvin Moore (Zelma) of Bolton; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Jacobs, Fulton Locklear and Lori Moore; his niece Florence Stubberfield; and his nephews, Gerald Graham and Tracy Graham.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Mt. Sinai Holiness Church (6690 Old Lake Rd, Bolton, NC 28423). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
