She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Garfield and Mary Elizabeth Andrews Beltz; her husband Joseph Carl Pruitt, Sr.; her great grandchild Brayden Duncan; and her siblings, Walter Beltz, Harvey Beltz, Carl Ray Beltz, Emma Miller, Imogene Turner and Dorothy Ghenco.

She is survived by : her children, Joey Pruitt (Annette) of Ash, NC and Debbie Duncan (Artie); her grandson Corey Duncan (Briley Willetts) of Ash, NC; and her great grandchild John Hunter Willetts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Baptist Church (3784 Exum Rd NW, Ash, NC 28420). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
