He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wilson Benton and Ida Gertrude Wilson Benton; and his brother LeRoy Benton. He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his son Brandon Wayne Benton (Morgan) of Calabash, NC; his grandchildren, Ava and Hudson Benton; his brother Howard Benton (Lois); and his siblings-in-law, Doris Benton of Ash, NC, Martin Bellamy (Margaret) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Milton Bellamy of Calabash, NC.
