With sadness, we share the passing of Agnes Mills Spivey of Asheboro, North Carolina. Agnes, born on May 3, 1926, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mills and Agnes Ledbetter Mills; her husband Charlie Clayton Spivey; her son Charlie Spivey Jr.; her siblings, Linda, Pauline, Helen, Frances, James and Roy; her son-in-law Wendell "Cookie" Whatley; and her grandson Wendell Whatley Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sue Whatley of Asheboro, Ronald Spivey (Fay) of Asheboro and John Spivey (Sharon) of Asheboro; her daughter-in-law Betty Spivey of Asheboro; and her brother Sammy Mills of Troy. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery (2527 Dover Church Rd, Seagrove, NC 27341).
