She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Brown and Rona McNeill Brown; her husband Clarence; her children, Ronald and Janet; her siblings, Doris "Jeanie" Smith, David Brown, Ed Brown and Mike Brown; and her brothers-in-law, Jay H. Smith of Denton, Kenneth Morgan of Carthage and Roy Morgan of Carthage.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris (Stacey) of Carthage and Bradley of Carthage; her great grandchild Lakelee Grace Morgan; her grandson Kaspen; her sisters, Judy Upchurch (Robert) of Archdale and Nell Gaines (Dannie) of Asheboro; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Priest of Myrtle Beach, SC, Delores Lassiter (Arnold) of Carthage, Beulah Ritter (Richard) of Robbins, Betty Doris Garner of Robbins and Kathleen Brown of Asheboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
