She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Giles and Frances Clark Giles; and her husband Tommy York. She is survived by: her sons, Alan York (Kimberly) of Asheboro and Todd York (Kelly) of Asheboro; her sister Beverly Herbert (John) of Decatur, GA; her grandchildren, Channing York and Carlyn York; and her niece SarahAnne Herbert Sadler (Ben).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Central Church (300 S Main St, Asheboro, NC 27203).
