It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyce James Asbill of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy William Asbill and Ruth Moran Asbill; and his siblings, Clyde Asbill, Wade Asbill, Paul Asbill, Harold Asbill, Donald Asbill, Wilma Asbill, Edna Hayes and Elsie Kiser.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Simmons Asbill; his children, Marty Asbill of Asheboro and Jennifer Byrd (Brad) of Asheboro; his sisters, Betty Macon of Erect and Jeanette Reeder (Winford) of Seagrove; and his grandchildren, Jackson Byrd of Coleridge and Isabella Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
