He was predeceased by: his father Paris "Bud" Qualls; his stepfather Benton Bowman; his son Adam Qualls; and his brother David Qualls. He is survived by: his children, Renee Qualls of Seagrove, NC and Chad Qualls of Rockwell, NC; his mother June Teets of Dexter, MO; his siblings, Dean Qualls of Florida, Keith Bowman of Texas and Marilyn DeJournette of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Qualls, Adam Qualls and Gabriella Qualls-Robinson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service (304 Lanier Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203). The military honors will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
