She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley Thomas and Bertha Williams Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Larry K. Voncannon; her children, Amy Stone and David Voncannon; her grandchildren, Alexa Stone, Zachary Stone and Devon Hill (Josh); her great grandchildren, Braxton Parrish, Penelope Stone, Luke Hill and Avery Hill; and her siblings, Pat McNeil (Allen), Sarah Ulackay and Michael Ray Thomas (Sandra).

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel (304 Lanier Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
