Charles Carson Lewis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Carson Lewis of Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lewis (Buster) and Ruth Duncan Lewis; and his aunt Mildred Duncan. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Lewis (Christy Roberts) and Phillip (Candice Lewis); his grandchildren, Julie, Ryan, Landon, Chase and Bennett; his brother Barry; his sister-in-law Patricia Lewis; his nephews, Barry Jr. and Bryan Lewis; and his nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law, Sue Swengros, Ann Freeman Sykes, Kay Freeman, Charles Freeman and Mark York.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Browers Chapel Global Methodist Church (1030 Browers Chapel Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Randolph Hospice House of Asheboro or the Browers Chapel Road Cemetery fund. Keep Charles's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
