He was predeceased by: his parents, James Haskell Bobo and Mary Frances Bobo Bullard. He is survived by: his wife Nita Y. Bobo; his daughter Heather M. Joyce (Jessie) of Asheboro; his grandson Cayden "C. J."; his sister Dale Gibson (Joe) of Little River, SC; his sibling's children, Karen Cawley of Salisbury, Sarah Allen of Raleigh, Michael Gibson of Rockwell, Derek Trogdon (Jessica) of Asheboro and Nick Trogdon (Lilly) of Asheboro; his mother-in-law Judy Hill Trogdon of Asheboro; his brother-in-law Stephen Trogdon (Michelle) of Asheboro; and his uncle Lewis Rush of Chattanooga, Tenn..
