He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Napoleon Simmons and Rosa Brown Simmons; his wife Linda Robbins Simmons; and his siblings, Christine Ritter, Gloria Evelyn Simmons and Dillard Simmons.
He is survived by: his nephew Jeffrey Ritter (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
