He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Napoleon Simmons and Rosa Brown Simmons; his wife Linda Robbins Simmons; and his siblings, Christine Ritter, Gloria Evelyn Simmons and Dillard Simmons.
He is survived by: his nephew Jeffrey Ritter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
