He is survived by: his wife Shelly Groce LaCoss; his children, Garrett LaCoss of Leland, NC and McKenzie LaCoss Mincher (Jonathan) of Wilmington; his sister Christine Vienna (Tom) of Florida; his grandchildren, Bella, Asa LaCoss, Eulie and Ozlo Mincher; his brother-in-law Jay Groce (Sarah); his nephews, Christopher, Will Groce, Brian Simonds, Jesse and Julian LaVancher; his niece Elizabeth Groce Lindberg (Eric); Cabell Bryan.
