It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Roberts of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Horace Roberts and Avo White Roberts; his former wife Lourene "Rene" Stringfellow Roberts; and his sister Dianne Roberts Newton. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nance Roberts; his sons, Greg Roberts, Jeff Roberts, David Roberts (Kimberly), Todd Kates (Adi) and Brandon Nance (Ellen); his grandchildren, Leah Roberts, Carmen Roberts, Erin Roberts of Logan Kates, J. T, Gabriel Kates, Maddox Shoaf, Ezra Nance, Asa Nance and Jhobe Nance; and his great grandchild Althea Kates.
