Doryn Morton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doryn Morton of Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph Lawrence Nortell and Dorothy Kathryn Schroeder; and her siblings, Dr. Joseph H. Nortell, Daniel Nortell, Judd L. Nortell, Malcolm "Skip" Nortell and Sharon Nortell.
She is survived by: her husband Charles I. Morton, Jr.; her children, Meredith Arbaiza (Alex) of Asheboro, Charles "Trey" Morton III (Adrienne) of Liberty Township, OH and Joseph Morton (Abby) of Randleman; her grandchildren, Charles "Chase" Morton IV, Caroline Morton, Madeline Arbaiza, Dorothy Arbaiza and Isaac Morton; and her siblings, Bruce Q. Nortell and Denise N. Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
