She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Cole and Ethel Cole; her husband John "Ted" Hayes; and her son Tracy T. Hayes. She is survived by: her daughters, Angella H. Williams of Asheboro, Teresa H. Dezern (Perry) of Archdale and Wanda H. Beck (Vance) of Bland, VA; and her sister Wilma Jones of Euless, TX. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 11:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
