He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Anderson Sr. and Roxie Nance Anderson; and his siblings, Don, Bill, Mac, Sherman, Stella, Lena May and Ruby.
He is survived by: his wife Alene Anderson; his children, Rita Boling, Lisa Mace (Keith), Vivian Cooper and Ricky Anderson (Donna); and his sisters, Lorene and Ann. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Oaklawn Cemetery (737 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203).
