He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Russell and Lizzie Smith Russell; his wife Olivia Russell; and his siblings, Dorothy Cox and Lloyd Russell.
He is survived by: his sons, Dale Russell (Cheryl) and Steve Russell (Debbie); his stepchildren, Deborah Poole (Alvin) and Jeff Greeson (Gloria); his grandchildren, Charity Ellis (Scott), Jonathan Russell (Courtney), Robert Russell (Autumn) and Jesse Russell (Marylynn); and his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Greeson, Megan Greeson (Ali) and Taylor Weary (Bobby). He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren.
