She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riggsbee and Myrtle Riggsbee; and her siblings, Gywen, Kenneth, Faye and Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Riggsbee (Jessica) of Mebane, NC, Brenda Cheek (Phillip) of Asheboro, NC, Cherri Riggsbee of Graham, NC and Ja'Ny Alston; her grandchildren, Tejuan Riggsbee (Annie), Phillip Cheek II (Veronica), Antwan Riggsbee (Tanisha), Mikel Riggsbee, JJ Riggsbee and Belmon Dean IV; her great grandchildren, Dyamond, Ashley, Myah, TeAnnah, Taliah, Logan and Rae; her great great grandchildren, Jay and Wynter; and her siblings, Patricia, William (Patricia), Vance (Lewella), Donnie, Jackie and Janelle.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greater St Johns Baptist Church (819 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Asheboro, NC 27203).
