She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hunt and Caroline McDowell Hunt; her husband Henry Harvell; her siblings, Pauline Wilson, Baxter Hunt, Clarence Hunt, Gladys Davis and Melvin Hunt; and her brother-in-law Bobby Gene Spencer.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Ann Harvell; her sister Ola Mae Spencer of Asheboro; and her nephews, Rick Spencer (Cris), Gregory Spencer, Harlon Davis (Kara) and Lonnie Lloyd Hunt.
