Though Jackie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Smith and Frances Pearson Smith; and her siblings, Shirley Freeman, June Parsons and Byron Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Emerson; her children, Ashley Garner of Asheboro, Beth Smith of Asheboro and Jason Goins (Chaslee) of Clarksville, TN; and her sister Deborah Clodfelter of Archdale. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
