He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Horton and Kathleen Clarkson Casale; his wife Claire Casale; his daughter Heather Burgess; and his brothers, Stephen Casale and Clark Casale.
He is survived by: his stepson Fred Watkins (Angie); and his grandchildren, Tyler Wright, Margaret Wright, Katelyn Watkins (Kyle) and Jessica Watkins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Maple Springs Baptist Church (6012 Maple Springs Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
