She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Raymond and Carolyn Owen Spivey; her daughter Amanda Chaise Finegan; and her sister Deborah Lynn Spivey Englehart. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Finegan Hunter (Scott) of Asheboro; her brother Joel Anthony Spivey of Jamestown; and her nieces, Lori Ann Englehart Burton and Hannah C. England Spivey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the The Exchange (204 S Fayetteville St, Asheboro, NC 27203).
