She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jenkins and Hettie York Jenkins; her husband Allen Thomas Roberts; and her foster son Robert Routh. She is survived by: her children, Jan "Chrissie" Roberts of California, Dena Roberts Baber of Asheboro and Reginald "Jay" Allred (Tracey) of Stoneville, NC; her brother Rudy Jenkins (Nancy) of Asheboro; and her foster children, Dewayne Rose, Gail Routh and Amy Routh. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203).
