He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Kenneth Watson, Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth Cox Watson; and his sister Carolyn Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Trogdon Watson; his children, Karen Watson Crews (Scott) of Asheboro and Alan Watson (Bonnie) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Sam Watson of Jacksonville, FL, Laura Watson of Lincoln, NE, Will Crews (Samantha) of Trinity and Sarah Powell (Blaine) of Louisville, KY; his cousin Jean Mabe (Gary) of Star; and his sister-in-law Nancy Allred of Asheboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
