She was predeceased by: her fathers, Everett Hopkins (Joanna Hopkins) and Stephen Hopkins. She is survived by: her husband Alfred E. Tate; her stepgrandchildren, Zach, Jayden and Julia; her siblings, Phillip Hopkins (Teressa) and Kathy Sellers (Raymond); her sister-in-law Sue Hopkins; her siblings' children, Chris Hopkins, Brian Hopkins (Amie), Daniel Sellers, Julia Sellers, Kimberly Rozman and Kalyn Williams (Thomas); her great-nieces, Karli Hopkins and Madilyn Hopkins; and her great-nephew Colby Hopkins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church (8003 Ferguson Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
