He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Lloyd Hunter and Nannie Burroughs Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hunter; his sons, Derrick Hunter (Patty) and Darrin Hunter (Marianne); his brother Darrell Hunter (Rita); his grandchildren, Khristen Hunter, Matthew Hunter (Darcy), Alec Hunter (Emily) and Alyssa Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Layla Hunter and Levi Hunter.
