She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Miller and Katherine Miller; her husband George Douglas Aitken; and her sister Susan Miller Gotheridge. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Aitken of Asheboro and Andrew Todd Aitken (Colleen) of Kernersville; and her grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Thomas Aitken and Emma Grace Aitken.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (420 W Walker Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203).
