She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Anderson and Nettie Anderson; her husband L. W. Leonard; her son Edward "Buster" Leonard; and her siblings, Hazel Smith, Evelyn Anderson, Roger, Robert and Tom Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Allred (Paul) of Asheboro and Lois Gollus (Joe) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Tim Leonard (Cindy), Wendy Boger, Nicole Cox (Allen) and Michael; Freda Leonard of Franklinville, Wendy Moffitt (Zach), Marie Ledbetter (Stephen), Mark Allred (Sarah), Cynthia Bick (Massey) and Jessica Dunning (Matt). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
