Merrill leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Merrill’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merrill will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Fetner and Elizabeth Austin Fetner (Merrill); and her brothers, Lawrence Jackson Fetner (Sylvia) and James Palmer Fetner (Iris). She is survived by: her nephews, Dr. James (Maggie Fetner) of Asheboro, Chris Fetner of Los Angeles, Mark (Justina Fetner) of Raleigh and Jack (Dee Dee Fetner) of High Point; her niece Cathy Fetner of Cary; and her pet Sammy.
