He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph Hayes and Doris Houde Hayes; his daughter Nicole Hayes; and his brother James "Jimmy" Hayes. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Hayes (Tyler Delgado) and Timothy Hayes (Virginia Loflin); his grandchildren, Bradley Martin, Riley Martin and Bella Martin; and his siblings, John Hayes (Maureen Hayes), Patricia Hayes and Barbara Hayes.
