He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Allen Hunt and Sadie Manns Hunt; his son Roy Allen Hunt, Sr.; and his siblings, Roy Hunt, Ralph Hunt, Raymond Hunt, Evelene Hunt and Brenda Gatlin.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hunt; his daughters, Jennifer Howell (Chad) and Donna Daughtry (Richard); his siblings, Ruth Hunt, Ruby Priddy and Mack Hunt (Arlene); and his grandchildren, Roy Hunt, Jr. (Ashley), Logan Howell, Benjamin Daughtry and Lauren Daughtry.
