She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Calvin Floyd and Versie Mae Fulp Floyd; her daughter Donna Bristow; and her brothers, Thomas "Buster" Floyd, Jr., Buddy Floyd, Terrel Floyd and J. C. Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy L. Barnes; her children, William "Billy" Bristow, Timothy "Timmy" Bristow and Melissa McDonald (Michael) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Makayla McDonald, Sasha Smith, Mandy Beckham, Tabitha Bristow, Jody Bristow and Zachary Bristow; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Harrington, Deja Harrington, Logan Manalo and Miley Manalo; and her pet Dixie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
