We announce the death of Patsy Cole of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 79. Patsy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Herndon and Esther Hatcher Peacock; and her sisters, Norma Shaw and Callie Hatcher. She is survived by: her husband Jackie Cole; her children, Lisa Sexton of Asheboro and Todd Cole; her sisters, Edith Wilks (Scott) of Wallace, SC, Ruby Gainey of Wallace, SC, Mae Winstead (Jeff) of Cheraw, SC and Faye Sartor (John) of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Morgan McNeill (Zach), Mason Sexton (Kelsey) and Taylor Cole; and her great grandchildren, McCoy Sexton and Kynley Grace McNeill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
