She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Brown and Nettie Newsom Brown; and her siblings, Eddie Brown, Earl Brown, Eugene Brown, Florence Kiser, Gladys Nance, Jewel Lucas and Aileen Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Elmer Goins; her children, Royce Goins (Tommy Ann) and Mary Ann Hayes; her brothers, Raiford Brown and Cline Brown; and her grandchildren, Ellen Wright, Kevin Goins, Annette Chavis, Sherri Keener and John Stanley.
