She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Benjamin Phelps. She is survived by: her mother Margie Dean Trogdon (James Paul Trogdon Jr.); her husband Jeff Melberger; her children, Anna Melberger and Jaylan Rogers of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Jordan Ramsey and Payton Ramsey; her sisters, Karen Ann Burrow (Charles) and Tiffany Abraham; her stepmother Ginger Phelps; and her close friend Joy.
A reception was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service (304 Lanier Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203).
