She was predeceased by: her parents, Eb Marvin McClure and Leoma Ledford McClure; and her husband Kenneth Albert Hunsucker. She is survived by: her children, John Hunsucker of Asheboro, Kelly Hunsucker Vinblad (John) of Moneta, VA, Ken Hunsucker (Jean) of Wilkesboro and Joan Hunsucker McCombs (Scott) of McAdenville, NC; and her sisters, Jenny Taylor and Joyce Justice of Myrtle Creek, OR. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (898 S Church St, Asheboro, NC 27203).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
