She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Betts, Sr.; her daughter Mary Jane Betts; and her parents, Cecil Dowdy and Ada Mae Carpenter Dowdy. She is survived by: her children, Ronald F. Betts, Jr. (Patricia) of Franklinville, Rita Michelle McDonald (Jamie) of Piney Point, MD and Tonya Renee Church (Jerry) of Winston-Salem; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Martin Williams (Mary), Travis Randel Williams (Bridgeman), Ashley Nicole Gray and Tyler Andrew Gray.
