Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert V. Sechrest and Sudie Lewis Sechrest; and his son Mark W. Sechrest. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sechrest; his daughter Angela York of Alabama; and his stepson Michael D. Stout of Asheboro.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (2235 Spero Rd, Randleman, NC 27317). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Randolph Memorial Park (4538 US Highway 220 Bus N, Asheboro, NC 27203).
