With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Clayton of Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Clay and Lucille Cagle Clayton; and his sister Emily Clayton Hatley. He is survived by: his wife Janet Tysinger Clayton; his son Justin Clayton (Jennifer) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Parker Clayton (Nicole) of Asheboro and Graham Clayton of Asheboro; and his brother Ronald Clayton (Jane) of Asheboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
