He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Morris Cagle and Minerva Cooper Cagle; and his son Willis Cagle. He is survived by: his daughters, Terry Cagle and Catherine Hardison. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Briggs Funeral Home (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (6737 Gravel Hill Rd, Denton, NC 27239).
