With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry Chase Williams of Asheboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 68. As Sherry departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sherry may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sherry leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford L. Williams; and her parents, Jimmy Chase and Magdalene Boone Chase. She is survived by: her son Chad Stickler (Thada) of Asheboro; her brother Terry Dean Chase of Summerfield; her grandchildren, Monica Nicole Stickler of Asheboro, Chad Eugene "CJ" Stickler, Jr. of Asheboro and Clifford Glenn Stickler (Britney Oakes) of Denton; and her great grandchild Waylon Kade Stickler.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
