She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ehrie and Anna Wakeland Ehrie; her former husband Max Beane; her husband Charlie Keaton; her children, Larry Beane, Terry Gill, Arthur Wayne Beane and Teresa Ann Beane; and her siblings, Margaret Ehrie, Michael Ehrie, Wesley Ehrie, Francis Foxworthy, Irene Junk, Rosemary Covault, Julia Harshbarger, Pat Dixon and Jack Ehrie.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Brown (James) of Asheboro and William "Bill" Beane of Asheboro; her siblings, Norma Kincaid, Martha Shanks and Billy Ehrie; and her grandchildren, Ashley Eskew (Ben), Courtney Allred (Scott), Tyler Brown (Ellie) and Christina Whitley (Sam).
